#166 This is an Old Believers cross

Description

The ends of this cross are in the form of shamrocks. The eight ended Golgotha cross with the spear and vinegar stick is on the front. The monograms IC XC [Jesus Christ] are on the lateral ends of the cross. The monograms HN KA [Conqueror] is under the main cross beam. Adam’s skull in the cave is at the foot of the Golgotha cross. The monogram MAPS [The place of the skull has become Paradise.] is on the bottom of the cross. The back of the cross has Psalm 68. ‘Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, let also those that hate Him flee before Him.” Circa 1600s
