#17- This is an Old Believers cross

Description

This cross has the eight ended Golgotha cross with the spear and the vinegar stick on the front. The monograms UPb CBb [King of Glory] are at the top of the cross. The monograms IC XC [Jesus Christ] are on the lateral ends. The monograms HN KT KA [Conqueror, spear, stick] are below the main cross beam. Adam’s skull in the cave is at the foot of the Golgotha cross. The monogram MAPE [The place of the cross has become Paradise.] is at the bottom. The back of the cross has Psalm 68 “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, let those also that hate Him flee before Him.” Circa 1600s
