#31 Old Believers Cross

Description

This cross has slightly expanded paddles with the eight ended Golgotha cross with the spear and the vinegar stick on the front. The monograms UPb CBb [King Of Glory is at the top of the cross. The monograms IC XC [Jesus Christ] are on the lateral ends. The monograms HN KT KA [Conqueror, spear, stick] are below the main cross beam. Adam’s skull in the cave is at the foot of the Golgotha cross. The monogram MAPE [The place of the cross has become Paradise.] is at the bottom. The perimeter of the front face of the cross has Psalm 68 “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, let those also that hate Him flee before Him.” The back of the cross is plain. Circa 1600s
