#75 This is an Old Believers cross

Description

This cross has the eight ended Golgotha cross with the spear and the vinegar stick on the front. The shortened monogram Pb [King] is at the top of the cross in a rhombic enclosure. The monograms I X [Jesus Christ] are in rhombs on the lateral ends of the cross beam. Adam’s skull in the cave is at the foot of the Golgotha cross. The monogram HK [Conqueror] is at the bottom of the cross. The back of the cross has Psalm 68 “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, also let those that hate Him flee before Him. Circa 1600s
