#80 Old Believers Cross 1500s

Description

This small cross has the Golgotha cross on it with the upper and lateral branches depicted with tight rhombic ends. The monogram IC [Jesus] is on the top. The monograms H K [Conqueror] are on the lateral ends of the cross. Adams cave is at the foot of the Golgotha cross. The monogram XC [Christ] is on the bottom. The back of the cross is plain. Circa1400s
